Bottleneck Slide

This lesson is for beginners. I offer exercises to develop good tone and intonation, finding melodies on the guitar, and getting a good sound. Most of the lesson is in standard tuning but I go into open G for one song at the end.

Fingerstyle Open D Tuning

The point of this video is to introduce open D tuning to intermediate players who are new to open tunings. I concentrate on scales and patterns, ways to approach arranging tunes you already know in the new tuning and I teach a few tunes to illustrate my ideas. Tablature for the tunes is included with this DVD on a separate CD-ROM so you can print it out. No tab book to lose!
